Since the beginning of time when God moved his hand across the Earth creating our green and pleasant land, the sheep began to roam the land. Mankind became dependent on the majestical sheep. Which was then able to provide us with warmth, food, material and tools to supply our needs.

Wool became the back bone of our society creating wealth and industry, England was built on the wealth of the wool trade and now we are throwing it away. Farmers need to be able to get value from all of the time and effort they place into raising their flocks. We feel we could make at least a small change to the way sheep and their fleece are perceived.

After shearing we take the shorn fleece and the sheep are let back into green fields to graze and continue growing another fleece for next year.

When we create a felted fleece rug we can sustainably use fleece in a new way to adorn your home. Making it cosy and inviting with a story to tell of your unique natural fleece, knowing that the fleece you are curling up on in front of a roaring fire on the bleakest of a winters evening has been created by two friends who want to make a small change to their family farms, whilst putting the welfare of sheep first whilst still continuing to back British farming and British wool and helping in the survival of British rare breed sheep.
